New Concept Art Description!

Aren't you feared that someone will hack your E-Mail Account in order to get the pictures?

 

I am really cool with Sydow just being the Obi Wan type character (non force user though) that fills you in on events that happened in the time gaps. I guess this concept art kind of gives a little credence to that.

 

do you have more concept arts for the future?

 

Can you ask your source to give you concept art or just information about the new Rebel Trooper? I am a hardcore Rebel collector and I need to know that! So that I know what to safe money for or there will be no new Rebel Troopers. :-(

 

I'm finding it really hard to visualise that craft from the description.

It says it would look exactly like a B-Wing head on. OK, get that, so I presume it has the same cross-shape formed by a perpendicular set of wings?
And there is an engine where the B-Wing cockpit is, while "the actual cockpit is just to the side of the wings with the other two engines".
Is that "wings with two other engines" as in the engines are on the wings, or is that supposed to be "the cockpit is to the side of the wings, with the two other engines" as in, all those features (the cockpit, the engine on the end, and the other two engines) are arranged laterally along the horizontal plane of the craft (in relation to the B-Wing pic accompanying).???
And if so, what does "just to the side of" mean? To the left, to the right? Does it go - from left: engine, cockpit, engine, wings, engine? Or engine, engine, cockpit, wings, engine?

And then how do the guns fit in.
"One of the three guns is fairly close to the cockpit, while the other two are closer to the center."
I don't quite get that, because in the previous description, we moved the cockpit away from where it is on a B-Wing (at the far end) to "the side of he wings" (which would put it nearer the centre of the craft), so the description of the guns doesn't really help me.
Are the guns on the same lateral plane as anything else? Or are they on the vertical "wings"? What sort of guns, do they resemble any we have seen before in terms of haw they are attached?

And I'm afraid I was totally lost on the description of the A-Wing sail part... Like the engine fins on the A-Wing? Also perpendicular to the main body of the craft then? One sail, or one sail "behind" each gun?

Can anyone who has seen this art expand in any way...?

 

You know... not a lot of people ask about that... everyone seems focused on the stormtroopers...

Attempting to describe something to someone without some frame of reference is really hard... can you tell me what salt tastes like? If you haven't tasted salt, what do you use to describe it? How would someone understand it?

 

I appreciate that, and I'm not criticising the description given...
But you can probably get closer to making someone understand the taste of salt if it is a two-way process.

The describing artwork stuff has to end. It's just a bit ridiculous. I saw one of the MSW ones had the line - "it's 100% longer and 50% shorter" or something like that. Just show the silly artwork or not. Hell, just post it on 4Chan or wherever and link to it.

 

I wish we had the budget to recreate some of the laughably bad spoilers and artwork descriptions in the style of Taiwanese CGI news reports.

 

This just in... according to MSW:

There is a chance Han takes the heroes to Leia, who sends them to “Rose,” who takes them to Max von Sydow’s character. Star Wars 7 News just ran a piece where Sydow’s character looks like a nice old man. Our source just sent us more undated pieces of Sydow as a cyborg type. I think it would be weird to cast such an actor and cover his face, but there are lot of different looks for this character. I don’t have my bets on either depiction, both are possible until we see or hear more. Either way, it appears after “Rose” blah blah blah.

 

Here let me edit that for you - "There is a chance we know next to nothing..." There, better?

 

The discription of the Tri-wing morphes into a diffirent shape with every word... Any chance you can do us a little pencil sketch of the basic shape? Please?

 

The location of the image is not the issue. Often times, a piece of concept art comes in, and there is nothing that can be done with it... it is a gift to us, but not to be shared. Sometimes we are told when we can discuss it... sometimes we are told we can describe it, but not show it. Whatever the restrictions are, we honour our sources... at the risk of destroying friendships, relationships, jobs... and worse... not getting any more. Now that I think about it, it's kinda like sex...
