    Interesting that he mentions being keen on the Old Republic as an era. Given the mass of demands from fans to canonise some of the previous content of KOTOR etc., I can't think of a better way to do so than by putting Luceno in the cockpit for the first run!

    Count me as a big fan of James Luceno's Star Wars work (not to dismiss his other work's, I just haven't read those books). Also a proponent of canonizing the 'Darth Plagueis' novel.

    I've always wished that Luceno would write a Freedon Nadd novel. I want to learn what went on between Nadd and Sadow and how Nadd ended up working with Ragnos. Nadd is largely responsible for the Great Sith War and his story needs to be told.

    I remember reading in an interview that John Jackson Miller said that he could have canonized Naga Sadow in "A New Dawn". It didn't happen because he hadn't found a way to put a commentary about him into the story!

    I don't think JJM actually said that. The facebook page that claimed to have spoken to him contradicted starwars.com and several people who were at celebration.
