    NYCC announced 3 new SW novels from DelRey: the two sequels to Aftermath Life Debt and Empire's End. And a new SW hardcover by Lost Stars author Claudia Gray called New Republic:Bloodline which will be coming out March 29,2016 and will be set 6 years before TFA. What will this book be about? Will it be the first Big 3 book set Post-ROTJ in the new canon? I have heard that Pablo Hidalgo say that once TFA comes out future waves of publishing will feature the Big 3. Will New Republic Bloodline be the first of these novels? Fingers crossed,

    And as the title states "Bloodline" will be about the child/children...and their backstory(s). I've speculated about Rey being Luke's daughter, and if this is correct, perhaps this is where we learn of her mother...can't wait! :)

    I wonder if this novel will be the last adventure of the Big 3 chronologically and they go their seperate ways and end up like they do in TFA. Perhaps there could be more novels with the Big 3 set after ROTJ but prequels to New Republic:Bloodline. I hope we see Luke fly his X-Wing with R2 in space battles in this novel and more future Big 3 novels set after ROTJ but before NR:B.

    oh I hope so one of the best EU now legends character as it say children maybe more back story on fin`s training as a stormtoper and some f his early missions & poe early exploits a x wing pilot was he always art of the resistance

    This book is going to be amazing!

    Lately with all of the talk about Naboo going on, maybe this will be a Leia (and/or Skywalker in general) focused story? She's visited Naboo twice now in the comics, (and while finding out if Luke and Leia ever discovered the truth about their mother would be awesome, I don't think it would be this story) and @D-green came up with an awesome list of all the times its appeared in the new canon so far; so maybe a story focused on or around Naboo and the Skywalker family?

    I've been thinking about this for a few days. This book takes place 6 years before TFA, right? Maybe this fully depicts what sends Luke off by himself? I know the rumors has him leave about 10, or more, years before TFA, but you never know. This book could deal with the Skywalker bloodline and what happens to them after.

    I hope that New Republic Bloodline will be 560 pages long like her last SW book Lost Stars. Long SW Hardcovers tell epic stories with many spectacular space battles. The longest SW hardcover was Troy Denning's NJO novel Star by Star which was 606 pages long. The last NJO novel The Unifying Force by James Luceno was 520 pages long. Tim Zahn's second Hand of Thrawn novel Vision of the Future was the same.

    Also i hope this novel will deal with what sends Luke into exile and focus solely on the Skywalker family. And of course see some awsome space battles with the Resistance up against the First Order.

    I have a feeling you're right. This could tell the story of Leia's defection from the New Republic and creation of the Resistance, while also dealing with her discovery of her mother's identity. If it's true that the Resistance is based on Naboo, that ties it all together.

    Is the Resistance separate from the New Republic? I didn't know

    Is it that surprising That Leia and or Han goes rouge from the New Republic? It happened in the Legends novels and was beliveable, push comes to shove they do what they feel is right.

    So what is the big revelation about Vader in this book? They make it sound so juicy. It is one of the biggest reasons I considered buying this book.
