OFFICIAL NEWS New Republic: Bloodlines and Aftermath: Life Debt pushed back

It's set 6 yrs before TFA and I did find that Hosnian Prime is the permanent capitol of the NR and that the different planets host the Senate on a rotating basis.

 

Maybe someone can clear this up for me. If Bloodline is 6 years before TFA, when does Kylo turn to the Dark side? How old is Rey during the events in Bloodline? When is Rey dropped off on Jakku?

 

Ben likely turns to Kylo within the 6-year timeframe following Bloodline (this is still unknown; Leia hasn't spoken to him in a while, cannot reach him, and we don't know how long they've been out of touch. but she's not worried about him--until the events of Bloodline).

Rey is about 13 years old at this time and presumably on Jakku.

we don't know for sure when she was left there, but likely somewhere between 5 and 8 years old (judging by the film).

 

Thanks for clearing that up... I thought that 6 years was too short a time period for Ben to turn to the Dark side considering he is training with Luke during the events in Bloodline.

 

well we still don't know much about Ben at this point.
we still don't know what caused Han & Leia concern enough to send him with Luke, or when that happened.
Ben could have been going Dark for years. we have no idea if Snoke was directly influencing him somehow or if he was just predisposed.
we don't know if his temperament problems are new or if he's always had poor impulse control.

he might have walked away from Luke right into Snoke's paws just primed to flip into a new persona.

 

I'm a little upset with the push back for Aftermath: Life Debt. I enjoyed the first book. It was a long slow read just do to the style but it ended with me wanting the 2nd one!

I'm about halfway through the Bloodlines book and really enjoying it.

 

Finished Bloodlines.....now I want to talk to someone about it!
