Non biased review. Balanced. Uses court of law rules and applies it to Force Awakens regarding ANH.

That said, I enjoy TFA. I don't think its the best Star Wars film, nor the worst.

Regardless, this is not bias, without emotion looking at factual information only.

The only thing about this review I tend to disagree with is the knocking of the prequels. They were not as bad as people made them out to be, but that said admittedly they could have been better. Still, they fit solidly within the SW universe, as does The Force Awakens.

Below is also another video regarding Rey and the "Mary Sue" accusations using the same techniques, non bias, rule based review:

Whether people judge this film as a reboot or a remake, it brought back star wars from obscurity. I stopped watching the above video, why on earth would Lucas a billionaire, who sold star wars for a mere 4 billion, in which Disney will make hundred times over sue JJ? Rogues One is set to hit the 1 billion club so standalones, trilogy films, prequel, original, and sequel are here to stay. Its a great time to be a fan. Were getting more star wars films that I can ever image. I've been a fan since I was 7 years old so I remember the dark times. I remember rushing out to get my copy of Heir to the Empire. With TFA's success were getting more sci-fi films, aliens, blade runner, predator, and JJ brought back trek. In a month or two were getting the title for ep8 and at SWC we'll get a teaser. I believe for Star Wars to be successful TFA had to borrow from the OT. maybe in the future we will get new fresh stories that will not borrow from the OT. Filmmaking is a money making business, so JJ played it safe now we must look forward.

    Well said.

As far as George suing JJ, it was just a hypothetical. It was just setting up a court procedure to see if you could "prove" in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt if TFA is a remake of ANH.

It doesn't say its a bad film, and I agree it isn't bad. Its a solid movie. The issue was whether the evidence was there for supporting the claim of whether it is in fact, a remake.

Thanks for waching what you did. It is the best review I have found by far. It ends solidly, without bias.

Max Landis wrote one of my fav Superman stories in a long time, any who, Rey being a Mary sue is just problems with the screenplay, because Luke a farm boy, who can pilot a t-16, jump into a star fighter is sort of a Gary stew, but because ANH's script was much more able to suspend one's disbelief he was not labeled a Gary stew or whatever.

By 'appearance' she LOOKS like a "Mary Sue". However it is my belief she is not. I have heard rumors of where they are going with this character and explaining her backstory. I won't post any spoiley rumors, but basically her being super powerful in the force and everything else will be explained.

Maybe we should implead Akira Kurosawa's estate and the makers of Buck Rogers' estate as well.
