Official C-3PO episode VIII thread

Well he's a protocol droid , he will be able to get his ''Master Luke'' lines out again & have one more adventure with his counterpart R2D2

 

I have no doubt in my mind that 3PO's red arm is the true overarching villain of the ST.

 

C3PO is really the Winter Soldier and no one caught on.

 

I think the real bad guy behind everything is Durge! He's hiding among the Resistance and nobody knows it!

 

What if C3PO is replaced by a spy droid? It never have been seen in Star Wars. Y'know, he's easy to replace him by a similar protocol droid. First order captures C3PO and replaces him by a fake 3P0. That would give the character a second life.

Or maybe The First Order comes up with a brand new weapon that just shuts down all techno from the Resistance-Republic..... all droids shut down, ships, weapon etc.

but this means c3po killed rey's parents. If we only had a map to the security camera footage, and the footage from the film crew for the over-the-shoulder and close-up shots.

 

Ben Solo turned to the darkside because threepio kept getting on his nerves.

I thought him being grand daddy's creation would have made Ben focus, clearly not, Threepio's whiney protocol would make anyone turn.

 

One of the subplots for VIII will be Ben's search for C-3PO. TFA was about the search for Luke Skywalker. VIII is about the search for C-3PO.

There's a part of me that thinks we're not supposed to like him at all... We know that he is th3 "straight man" for R2's humor but in every series he's appeared in (PT, TCW, Rebels, RO, OT, ST) he's always saying or doing something that annoys me. The only balanced portrayal I've ever "seen" was in EU books.
