That is true. You can find them as instrumentals here and there on youtube. The people who made the music did release the instrumental tracks there.

This isn't a joke, but if you play the first 15 seconds of 'Rey's Theme' backwards and lower the pitch down, it sounds very similar to 'The Imperial March'! ;)

Thank you, I listened to this with my morning coffee. I love how he breaks Williams's music, every time I hear something new. I am happy they decided to have two shows a month instead of just one.

Did you notice the background noise (people turning paper etc., even John Williams humming along and slowly breathing) in the tracks: "Torn Apart", "The Starkiller" and in "Jedi Steps and Finale" (though it could be the guest conductor). Just put up your headphones, put up the sound and listen. Never noticed this with any other Star Wars OST before. This is awesome!

I've been listening this soundtrack in shuffle with the OT ones and I really think John Williams is a genius. It is awesome how you can feel how each soundtrack has a different vibe but it's yet the same Star Wars we all love.

The whole opening sounds like the percussion from the Imperial March. Also her theme and Ren's theme both have relation to Luke, Leia and Vader's Themes.

If you listen to the Falcon track you'll hear hints of the tracks involving the Falcon and/or Han and Leia escaping Hoth from Empire. It's part of my daily listen now. I can't get enough. Also the brilliant end credits where Rey's Theme is played in counterpoint with the Force Theme...which used to be Ben Kenobi's Theme. If she's not the granddaughter of Kenobi and the daughter of Luke, I'll go streaking through Disneyland ha!

Yep, I noticed the hints from the Falcon. Lol about Rey origins... As Snoke says: "We shall see. We shall see."
