Except regular paper exists in Star Wars as well, and flimsiplast is just an alternative that they came up with later on.

They had an actual HDD in Rogue One.

Paper is low on my totem pole of concerns...

I think that while we never got to see a book in a SW movie, it would be obvious to assume that they existed on the more primitive worlds. I wouldn't find it strange if races like the Ewoks, Amanin or Talz used paper.

Wasn't it canon the ship log telling that they had abandoned ship in escape pods was paper? EU used to call it flimsistat or something.

In an episode of The Clone Wars there a pirate who broke away from Hondo's crew who had a pinup girl Twi'lek poster in his speeder bike garage. She was greenish blueish skinned & topless. Her worm tails covered her nipples. Sorry to disappoint but I've got a great zoom feature. Also in a deleted scene in TESB a warning label covered a room that was filled w/ Wampas in Echo Base.

So printing on something is extant.
