    The only official Star Wars beverage I'm aware of is "malt brew", that's what Luke and Biggs drank outside of Toschi Station according to the original ANH screenplay (as a matter of fact one is sitting next to my desk). :)

    P.S. Both the screenplay and a bottle of malt brew

    I expect no product placement in TFA, as there are no earthly products that have any place there. I think that IF there ARE any, that they'll be so obscure that they wont be noticed by the majority. Still is an interesting thought...keep your eyes open! :)

    I don't know about IN-movie product placement, but I'm already seeing the damndest things with Kylo Ren on them. Napkins, tissues, paper plates.

    I have a feeling that - particularly with Disney's backing now - the cobranding and product marketing of ALL THINGS Star Wars is going to be like nothing ever seen before.

    Market-chlorian levels off the charts.

    Product placement will only happen if the Syfy channel buys the rights to Star Wars.. and for that to happen Disney would need to put M. Night Shyamalan in charge of episode X with a budget of $16 billion.. followed by a pack of hungry dogs eating all of the footage before release

    I think Walt Disney would rise from the dead and beat the **** out of Bob Iger if that happened.

    Every grocery store around here has them. Tastes just like root beer, with a malty beer aftertaste. In Kansas City, MO, you can get about any alcohol drink you want at any gas station. I don't drink very much, but I do like the taste of the root beer beer.

    Now you have LFL *and* Disney with one of the most hyped (can you honestly, objectively outside of being a SW fan, think of any other modern day movie that has been this anticipated on a greater scale?) movies of all time.

    It's going to be Star Wars toilet paper, oil changes, cotton swabs, turkey legs, paint cans, plywood, antibiotics.........

    The most far-out placement I've seen for SW is The Vader-edition PS4...and obviously I got i...wAIT WAIT...I SAW A FURBACCA at Target --- which I almost bought --- so I guess Furbacca is the strangest one that I've seen.
