I have been thinking about Phasma for some time now and I really wonder if it will be shown in the movie that Phasma is indeed a female or if fans are going to be left in the dark. What if she never reveals her face and has a male voice? Only by a EU story would we know for sure because simply having a lady play a SW character doesn't automatically mean that said character is a female. Zuckuss is a male character yet he was played by actress Catherine Munroe.

So I guess we will just have to wait and see till Phasma takes of her helmet in the movie or Disney reveals that said character is indeed a female cause the things I've heard is that Phasma is the ''Boba Fett'' of TFA and if that is true then we can all expect alot of mistery to surround Phasma and this includes no taking off the helmet. We will know in 5 days.

I do recall hearing that a while back. It could be cool if the suit had stealth technology built in

We at least know that this won't be the case. She's got a talking toy, and we've already heard her voice.

There are cyborgs in the SW universe, but in Phasma's case, no. Definitely human.

Now that you've said that, I really want her to at least once say...

    PHASMA
    Thank you for your cooperation!

I have to take this with a little doubt. Not because what you are saying is wrong but because this wouldn't be the first time that a figure with a voice has been released but then in the movie said character has no lines. When Episode 1 was released, there were a bunch of figures that came with a com tech chip that was used with the TPM comtech reader. There we could hear lines that were supposed to be from the movie. When I got my Gasgano figure I thought that his lines were also from the movie yet this wasn't the case as he had no lines in the movie at all.

Even the deleted scenes from TPM didn't show Gasgano speaking at all and my Anakin figure also had lines that were not spoken in the movie so I guess we will have to see if in fact Phasma speaks and if her voice sounds like the toy.

Good info, I never knew that although I think she will have some dialogue even if it's not that many lines.

Looks like I'm in a small minority according to the poll but never tell me the odds
