OFFICIAL NEWS Poe Dameron Gets His Own Comic

It's interesting that it is to be an ongoing run. I kind of expected that a Poe title would be a limited run...

Wish they would have gone with the Black Leader callsign for the title...

Also, a new villain, can it be Benicio's character?

 

You got it, Poe should be a limited series because this trilogy is still developing and things could tangled and mess a nice comic or spoil the upcoming movies.

On other hand i'm really waiting a SW Comic without Force users, perhaps that's why i liked Lando Mini so much besides remind me an Han Solo adventure in the galaxy underground.

 

Very cool! Do we know if this is set before or after The Force Awakens yet?

 

I'm super excited about this one. I've read everything but the Lando series so far and I'm loving it. It's about time to get out of the Original Trology though. We got a little prequel trilogy action with Obi and Anikan but I've been craving this.

 

Amazing news, sad to see Kanan come to an end but really looking forward to this.

As I have indicated elsewhere, I think that a comic with Poe is an excellent idea.

Is it bad that in spite of everything, the thing I'm most excited for about this is seeing more of Jessika Pava?

 

One concern I have about this comic is that it says it will lead up to Poe finding Lor San Tekka. This was touched upon briefly in the YA book "Before the Awakening" when Leia sent Poe to find Tekka on Jakku. So they alrady know what planet he's on and shouldn't be too hard to find him.

Before he was with the Resistance in the same book he was with the New Republic so depending on how far back they go they could make this work. Only time will tell.

 

Seemingly the villain in the Poe comics will be Captain Terrex of the First Order
