As we all know Andy Serkis' mysterious character narrates the first teaser trailer.

"There's been an awakening. Have you felt it?" - up pops Finn. Clearly Finn is the subject here. He's "woken up" to the Force.

"The Dark Side..." - Kylo Ren (pretty clear he's not good with that big red lightsaber)

"...and the Light" - Millenium Falcon being flown through loop-d-loops. Who's flying the Falcon? We know Rey and Finn run on board...but we also know Finn can't fly (based on the stolen TIE fighter storyline with Poe) and we really don't know anything about what Rey can do. Could a "scavenger" jump into the seat of the Falcon and start tooling around expertly?

Poe has come to Jakku on a mission from Leia. We believe his X-Wing is torched, he's captured, he escapes from the Star Destroyer with Finn. Does he get off Jakku on his own? Or is he the one that's stealing the Falcon and waves Rey and Finn onboard when the TIE is shooting at them?

In the second teaser - Luke is narrating. Father, himself, sister have the Force. "You have that power too." Fade to black - the next character we see is...Poe Dameron.

Although we see a lot of Rey in the trailers...and it seems obvious that she is pretty core to the coming story - I believe Poe Dameron may be hiding under our noses as one of the Force-wielding main characters. I had earlier dismissed him as being the Han Solo type - flyboy, cocky, etc. but this may point to something more.

You could be right but so far I'm leaning more towards your earlier idea of him being the Han Solo type, If they want the chemistry between the main three characters to be more similar to the OT, I think at least one of them is not force sensitive and Poe is the best candidate so far.
I agree with your first two points about the first teaser, but in number three "...and the Light" I think Rey is currently flying the falcon, I think she is the current owner and she didn't steal it or find it.
In the second teaser I think there is a very long pause between "You have that power too." and the part where we see Poe, also the part where it says "this christmas" is in the middle and it kind of takes the focus away from what Luke just said.

I honestly don't believe there are many force users in TFA besides Luke. Of the new generation, I'd say only Rey and Kylo are. I might be wrong and Poe may also be force sensitive. I think Finn develops it later, or maybe discovers he is at the end.

Anything can happen but the direction of things said about the characters suggest that Rey and Finn are the Forcies and Poe is the good blaster. Honestly if Poe somehow was force sensitive I would feel directly lied to. Not confirming things and letting speculation linger is one thing but the few firm things that outside SW media (meaning entertainment news) have said about the characters is that Finn and Rey are the new Jedi and Poe is the new Solo. I am not getting a lot of entertaining the same rumors we do here from entertainment news (not that I watch a lot of it) but I know when Good Morning America spoke about things they shared very little info.

So... Rey, Finn, Maz, Leia, possibly MvS, Gleeson's character, and now Poe are Forcers according to various rumors, and Captain Phasma apparently wields a lightsaber at some point (as does Boba Fett according to one rumor). If this turns into another force fest ala the PT, I'm going to be quite disapointed in the ST. (Although, I have no faith in that outcome at all).

Edit: Added Gleeson to the mix as I had forgotten that he was rumored to be a Force guy too.

My impression is that Rey and Finn are the Force Sensitives, along maybe with Domnhall Gleeson's character, who is rumored to be Luke's son, but who doesn't even have a name yet (I think the fact that he doesn't have a name points to that last name being Skywalker). Poe Dameron, with his dark-eyed good looks, makes one /want/ him to be a Solo, but that would make it altogether too many secret identities. Then again, Poe, Rey and Finn seem to be the Big Three of this trilogy, and I don't think they would do a genuine love triangle between the three, nor would I think that they would leave Finn out and have Poe and Rey get involved, as also rumored, because it would feel uncomfortably race-based. Ergo, I like my original impression that Poe and Rey are both Solos, that they plus Finn and Gleeson are Force sensitives, and that Kylo Ren might turn out to be a secretly villainous love interest for Rey, at least in the first movie and a half. ;)

But it's already decided, so I guess we will see!

I'm not saying I'm on board with this theory, but if Leia isn't witth Han, then it's entirely possible that she married someone named Dameron. And I will point out that both Anakin and Luke started off as great pilots - which is how we are introduced to Poe. Imagine him in the second trailer shouting "Yipee!" Instead of "Woohoo!" Just saying.

Having THAT much Force-sensitive people in an already confined (cinematic) universe would diminish its value.

I think that Force Awakens will deal with more capabilities of the Force, like healing, better telekinesis and hopefully something like Tutaminis.

Perhaps the "Awakening" will make everyone in the entire galaxy force sensitive.

I prefer how the OT had many less force users then the PT. There was only 3 major force users(Luke, Vader, and Emperor). While two force users(Obi & Yoda) played minor, but very important roles. Excluding Leia. I hope TFA keeps a minor amount of force users in the first movie at-least, instead of spontaneous explosion of force users all over the galaxy.

First time I saw the trailer I thought Luke's "you have that power to" (fade to black) was aimed at us, the audience, as the next thing shown is the release date. If one of the themes of TFA is that everyone has the potential to use/serve the Force, this makes sense. I guess....

We all had the force as kids. How many times you tried to move a glass or a spoon or even a toy lightsaber with your mind?

Maybe everyone will be able to buy a large soda and popcorn and supersize for only .50 and it'll come with the force! It'll be some kind of theater promotion when the film comes out.

Did anyone else notice the caption for the image of Poe Dameron in the Vanity Fair article? The title of the caption is "Obi-Wan is my co-pilot". I know this probably doesn't mean anything... but what if it does?

NO, we don't need everyone being force sensitive... We already have 1.Rey 2.Finn 3.Captain Phasma (Perhaps) 4.Leia and the only jedi so far is Luke. As for Sith we have Uber and Kylo Ren.
