I saw it yesterday. It was my first Rebels episode ever and I enjoyed it. It was interesting how Princess Leia was playing as envoy of the Empire but going ahead with the Rebels path ("There is not turning back."). She looks mature for her age, but she has been educated as royalty and by her adoptive father, the Senator. It was a nice episode!

May the Force be with you too!

Just finished it. It was a really good episode! Leia's voice did throw me off a bit (she's supposed to be just fifteen yet she looks and sounds so much older - but I guess being a princess while helping the Imperial Senate while actually being a Rebel sympathizer can age a person). I liked her interactions with Ezra and Kanan and how comfortable she felt with the crew in general. It'll be interesting to see what her (hopefully) next appearance entails!

Not one of the best episodes, but an okay one in my humble view.

I saw it last night and I thought it was a good episode. We didn't really get anything new or game changing and the Empire really came off as even more incompetent than usual in this episode, but it was nice to see Leia in Rebels. Leia and other supporters of the Rebellion can't openly oppose the Empire or they risk having their worlds being destroyed. Getting to see how she walks that line between overtly supporting the Empire while secretly opposing it was very interesting to see.

Don't get me started on her mother, "her real mother" in TPM. For being a 14 year old, Queen Amidala's voice was sort of odd. But guess being a politician ages people lol.

Leia is ~16 years old in this episode. They said it's about 3 years before Episode IV, where Luke and Leia were 19 years old.

As for the episode, it was kind of mediocre but shows that Leia met Ezra and Kanan in the past and heard and saw what they were up to.

Since it's been shown after the Rebels audience has seen Episode VII, it reminds the audience about General Organa, the
daughter of a villain and mother of a villain
was up to during this time.

It also has led to the launch of a new Princess Leia figure product:

This one was a bit askew for me. It wasn't my favorite, but it actually had a good story, it just lacked "punch". Yet, I'm glad it had a bit more to it than just a wiz-bang whirlwind, so I question what I really want...I also think the recent S2 Trailer was too hard an act to follow by this episode.

It was essentially meant to be a continuation/conclusion of the mid-season finale, but yet didn't quite come across that way. I think a lot of people that won't like this episode will be trying to look at it totally standalone, but several elements were really meant to directly carry over from the previous episode. They did the same thing in Season 1 and I felt the same way then too.

    What I liked:
    • The Imperials weren't totally naive to what is going on with the Alderraneans, but they just didn't have proof yet - but this fits well with Vader's comments at the beginning of ANH.
    • It is good to see different Imperial characters dealing with the Rebels, so it's not the same person getting beaten each episode.
    • The plan was fairly intricate, and wasn't that easy to pull off. I hate when shows make the payoff too easy, and this felt like they all had to work together to make it happen, and even then barely so.
    • Leia's snarky comments after Ezra tried to impress her with the Force were the most Leia-esque of the episode
    • Leia was;t perfect - her initial plan fell flat and she had to deal with that
    • The hammerhead ships were cool
    What I didn't:
    • I hated how easy it was for Kanan to slice through the legs of the walker. WAY too easy.
    • Three ships arrive, yet we never see ANYONE else besides Leia - I understand the budget constraints, but this seemed excessively sparse

Whatever happened to the Hammerhead corvette crewmembers Leia brought with her? There were at least two onboard the corvette she arrived on, and there had to be some piloting the other two as well.

I only spoiler tagged it because this isn't the Episode VII or VIII forum.

Some of the lines that caught my attention:

    1) "Well, there's no turning back now." (And as we know, there won't be.)

    2) These lines:

    Ezra: "Do you ever wonder..."
Princess Leia: "...if this fight is even worth it? Every day. But I'm still here."

(Cannot help thinking of General Leia sending Rey away and being the living proof of those words.)

    3) "This is the rebel ship we've been looking for." (Where are you, Obi-Wan Kenobi?? Lol)

Since by Empire the AT-ATs armor was too thick for the speeder's blasters and it absorbed the heat of the canon blast I assumed they improved the legs between this episode and empire strikes back.. because of encounters like Kanan's actions-

Or maybe Kansan had some sort of intimate knowledge of AT-ATs.
