    Its because Kanan is a jedi Knight (if only just barely)
    Luke was not at the start of Empire

    I know it wasnt the greatest show out of all the Rebels, given the fact that is better than most of them. Just the addition of Princess Leia to Rebels just helps the cause of the Rebels and makes their storyline more into the SW saga. I dont get into the whole "How and Why" I figure they want people to focus on the story. I know about the financial budget and why they can do so much. with the trailer they show alot of important scenes and items we need to fill gaps in stories, added information and how it ties in SW. They are so much focused on R1 right now that they cant go in depth in Rebels(which sucks to me). but I feel the storyline they are going in and that i hope they go in will benefit the fans.

    Okay this is getting ridiculous. Yoda should call Bail Organa for a Uber pickup swing by get Obi-wan and Luke get Kanan , Ezra, Leia and Ashoka get to the outer rim and do some serious training for a year and come back like Taken.

    We have a very particular set of skills, skills we have acquired with some very intense training. Skills that make us a nightmare for people like you. If you surrender now, that'll be the end of it. But if you don't, We will look for you, We will find you, and We will kill you.

    I have a gut feeling this is pretty close to what occurring at the beginning of ANH. The Death Star is about to be completed, the time to act is now. Leia has been sent by Bail to pick up Obi Wan (and probably Luke as well, even if Bail does not tell her about him), Bail has already picked up Ahsoka/Kanan/Ezra (whoever is still alive at that point), and is waiting for Leia and Obi Wan to link up with them on Alderann before heading to Dagobah to get Yoda. Obviously this plan does not work out so well for Bail and anyone with him.

    BTW, found this comparison between Rebels Leia at 16 and what she'd look like IRL at that age (from a old picture from Carrie Fisher). Not bad animation job!
