It just went to my earlier point a few days ago about how many times will be see Ren ignite his saber.

No, I don't mind that Luke takes a backseat. My beef is with the plot / story, and how it rehashes the original trilogy instead of giving us a fresh story; I think it is incredible that, when all is said and done, they thought this (assuming all the leaks are real) was the best possible way forward for the continuing story.

 

Based on what I've read I'm pretty much convinced NO ONE here has seen this movie or knows anyone who did (who's talking), but lots of people seem to want others to believe they did just to stir things up. It's annoying.

I'm checking out until Friday.

Within Disney, I know we had heard some of the initial teaser was shot only for the teaser. So I think this makes sense.

I love how when we finally see overwhelming evidence these spoilers some of us have believed are true for months and months, we STILL have posts insisting we're being deceived or that there's another twist to it all. Some of you can't accept truth while staring it in the face.

It's a "Han Solo introduces Rey and Ben's arc and then dies" film.

It reboots a franchise to life.

It establishes new young actors as iconic to the brand with the aid of the biggest legend the brand ever created.

It answers questions about what happened after ROTJ, but it leaves other concerns unanswered.

I'm seeing more negative reaction to Lupita's performance which worries me since I think she largely "carries" the second act.

Some of the reddit stuff is BS, but I think it all jives with what most of us were expecting and have known for a while.

I love how its Max von Sydow that ushers in the new trilogy with that first iconic line!

 

Honestly that Kylo ren looked weird to me from the start. Who stands like that? It just seemed fake to me. Glad to know that was the case.

 

I think it makes sense that the scene of Kylo igniting lightsabre was just for the teaser and not in the movie but wish they had kept the X-wings flying over the lake

 

that shot was just to show off the saber. afterall he does ignite that saber for no reason at all.. nobody is ahead of him.

 

Like I said earlier, just because I don't want to say anything doesn't mean I haven't seen it...so don't be in denial...I'm not going to defend myself...if you look on Twitter, people don't generally want to spoil it, and the ones who are trying to are the biggest idiots .

 

If your seriously claiming that you seen it ( I actually do believe you) I think these kids are looking for a THUMBS UP or a without tipping my hand on my review

And yes, you seem to be the only smart one on here. These kids seem to be wanting to get closure and, like most trolls, want full evidence on everything like most people want proof of everything these days. If not, then they won't believe you and there's no point in interacting with them .

no one is in denial but you. youve obviously let your imagination run wild, as ive been calling out your bullsh*t since i joined the forums. take your trolling elsewhere.

 

Is there anything you can say about the actual Premiere event, not the movie, that only you and the other people inside the cinema would know about?
