Filoni seems to be working on a new animation show

“Dave [Filoni] is still just as involved as ever – overseeing all aspects of Star Wars Rebels production as Executive Producer and occasionally directing episodes. In many ways, mentoring Justin [Ridge] and moving him into the role as Supervising Director has made it possible for Dave to be even more immersed in the writing and story structure of the show as well as creatively overseeing future animation development. Justin started with Lucasfilm Animation on the first season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and worked with Dave before that on Avatar: The Last Airbender, so they’ve been working together for quite some time.”

 

The impression I got, from this quote and others, is that Dave got promoted to head of all animation. They are going to have 2-3 animated projects at a time, with Filoni as big boss, and each show getting its own supervising directors.

 

I gotta admit I was not enthusiastic about this episode - felt like a filler from before - but I enjoyed it anyway!

I insist: in my headcanon, there is a moment either in Dantooine or Yavin 4 where all our droid friends are hanging out and AP-5, K2SO, Chopper and Artoo are giving Threepio a bad time LOL.

I noticed that too! It's looking better and better every time.

I am really looking forward for them to get to Dantooine, since I read in Lost Stars when Thane was there when he was sent from the Death Star, based on the Princess information.

Hope so!

I really want to see the events of Rogue One from the perspective of our Ghost crew friends.

 

I hope see them in future episodes, quite a adversary.
