There have been a few episodes where her acrobatics have been almost Jedi like, but that doesn't necescarilly mean she is a Jedi. It could be just stylized for the show to make her cooler. Maybe there is a in show explanation like her world has a heavier than normal gravity which makes her stronger on some worlds.

    Agreed.

I DO indeed watch StarWarsStuff for the WHEEEEEEEEEE!!! factor. ...In an outrageous, "Indiana Jones" sort of way.

There's certainly more to it than that, but it's a good measure of the draw for me. ...And one can note that the writers are testing the limits of what is/are "fan-acceptable" levels of silly unreality. (Remember most or all of us suffering an agonizing eye-roll to the "lightsaber helicopter" concept? They [the writers] must've laughed their heads off at THAT one!) –But lines become drawn. "Stretches" are tested and noted. –You BET they have readers checking out fan reactions and opinions— we're their bread and butter. It's a weird fan base...aging 10-55... opinions on "what should be/what sits well" are all over the map. ...And there's SO much mining to do! I think & hope the folks in charge are playing for the long game!

Back to topic- loved the episode.
I don't think Sabine will be a FS character-- she's just a nimble "cartoon jumper".
I like to think Kanan gave her some slack to encourage her emotional catharsis and new perspective.

Good episode but not great. Kind of feel like people are over-hyping it a bit. Nothing really happened other than getting some backstories on the Darksaber/Sabine and her eventual acceptance of Kanan's training. I get it though.... The Mandos are cool. I'm hoping to see more quality episodes like this one for the rest of the season and less episodes like last week's "Warhead." The next one, "Legacy of Mandalore" looks very promising but I wish we didn't have to wait a month for it.

Great episode, but there's no episode that can beat OB1 and Maul confrontation. Lets see if I'm wrong. I Hope to be.

    Eleven-thirtyeight take on this episode:

    http://eleven-thirtyeight.com/2017/01/rebels-revisited-trials-and-revelations/

I agree on the family idea that is repeateadly mentioned over through the saga.

In some ways, Sabine is like Jyn Erso, with the difference that our Mandalorian friend was estranged from her family due to different reasons, and was taken by these band of Rebels who took her as one of them and didn't let her go - not judging you, Saw lol. I can see a parallel between that attitude of being reserved on their own internal conflicts - Alexander Freed addressed this beautifully in the Rogue One novelisation as "Jyn's cave" - but Sabine finally starts opening at the end of this episode.

    Terrific episode!
We didn't have imperials or any bad guys around. The main antagonist was Sabine's own demons, and they played this out very nicely.
    A few questions for discussion:
    1) Those were convorees. And in previous interviews, Filoni had said when they appear, it wan't accident. They are like observers or messengers. So, what's the deal then? They used to be connected to Ahsoka. Is she coming back soon?
    2) The Mandalorian-Jedi war is canon now. Awesome. Assuming this happened a some hundred years prior to the events of The Phantom Menace, then we know someone who must have fought in this war: Yoda. Would Disney consider a Young Yoda stand-alone movie? Perhaps young Darth Plagueis the wise could be the main antagonist, using the mandalorians as puppets, as a first attempt to destroy the Jedi.
    3) Sabine mentioned a brother. Perhaps his name was Korkie? Duchess Satine's nephew. We will know soon.
