It was stated to not be Outrider in the most recent Rebels Recon.

I'm not really impressed by this season so far.

This was probably my least favorite episode of Rebels out of all three seasons so far. Seriously, this was kiddy Disney stuff in the worst possible sense. Nothing of consequence happened in the episode other than hints at a possible connection between Thrawn and Sato, which could have been accomplished in a better episode that actually pushed forward other plot points that we actually care about, you know, stuff about the Mandalorians, Ezra's battle with the Dark Side, Kanan's progression with the Bendu, Darth Maul, even something more substantial on Thrawn himself. What we got instead was a bunch of annoying new characters who were too stupid to be likeable in this episode(celebrating after you idiots almost got everyone killed, seriously ).

Episodes like this are why the show gets a bad rap among fans who haven't fully committed yet. Stuff like this is frankly inexcusable when they have so many plotlines that are so much more interesting that they are juggling.

Let's say that in a best case scenario, that this episode turns out to be crucial to Thrawn's plans, him using Sato's nephew to devastating effect later this season for instance. Even then, there is no excuse for such a dull episode to set things up.

This episode has by no means ruined me on Rebels, but it was a great example of magnifying all of the worst parts of the show in one episode IMO. If I was someone who hated this show and was trying to convince someone else not to watch it, this is the exact episode I would show them.

I enjoyed the episode, it shows the spirit to the fight the empire is not only in the adults but also the kids.

A pointless episode that had no story to tell and contributed nothing to the series or Star Wars in general. Bland, lazy, and annoying. What a waste.

I'd be lying if I said that I didn't like this episode. I did enjoy it but I really feel like this Season started with a bang and left us with a lot to think about... but having these obvious filler episodes is frustrating. I want to know what's happening with Maul, The Bendu, Kanan, Ezra's struggle with the Dark Side, etc.

I do however feel like Thrawn could pose a stronger threat and actually do stuff but this is the start of a long chess game. I can't see Thrawn living past the OT Era though. I just don't think that they would've introduced Thrawn via Rebels if he were to play a huge role in the Star Wars universe - which I think is a shame.

Nevertheless, enjoyable episode but easily forgettable.

Shipful of Ezras... Classic! Haha. What I liked about this episode is when that cocky kid takes on all those ships by himself. What did he think he was Han Solo! haha That made my day! Harloff on Jedi Council called that trio idiot kids. haha! I trust Filoni will redeem himself by the end of the season.

I want you to be wrong, but suspect you are right. Since the battle of Jakku officially ends the galactic civil war just one year after ROTJ, that doesn't give them much time to add thrawn back in between ROTJ and the end of the war.

To me, Thrawn was a neat character because the villian was the underdog. The new republic had been restored and this scrappy dude with just his brain almost tears it all down. If new thrawn only lives in this narrow period between rebels and EP 4, the empire is at its most dominant. What will provide him with a challenge before the formation of the rebel alliance?
