OFFICIAL NEWS Rebels To Undergo Six-Week Hiatus After "Gathering Forces"

Rebels helps give Disney XD their best month in primetime ever, per a press release. It was their #1 series in November among Boys 2-11, and #2 in total viewers. The show also more than doubled its audience based on live + 7 ratings.

Man, if the won't leave the overexposed Lothal - where no one can mysteriously find them after like 10 time hop ons and hop offs. It is imperial enclave on Outer Rim planet, filled with military complexes and they are just going around like nothing. After Falcon leaves Tatooine in ANH, there is a Star Destroyer right on it's tail.
- I seriously stop watching the series.
I did only like 3 episodes of the show and it just doesn't compare to Clone Wars that I really like. Not even by the animation and model quality.
The first movie was actually fun and the episodes with Inquisitor as well, but that's it. In Clone Wars, we've got some huge space assault right in third episode (Not to mention the great first Yoda episode and rescue mission led by Anakin to save Plo Koon and co. really liked those episodes).
There were tons of characters, lot of action and lot of work put into the visual.
I do understand that Rebels is a ''chamber drama'' (yeah, well it is for kids), so I can't expect huge battles but hit and run operations and small stories.
But that is more the reason for it to be done better or on par with Clone Wars.

Like Filoni, what the hell? I really adored the guy for what he done with Clone Wars, but I got this impression, that Disney killed his child he nurtured and took so much care of, that he is just bitter and doesn't care that much about Rebels and it shows.

 

Next Star Wars Rebels episode will be out a day before my birthday!
