    We went over this in the thread... about 3 days ago. Daisy's statement is ambiguous. It could read either as you choose to read it, or that it's obvious that TFA revealed who her parents weren't.

    She later said that it was "obvious that she wasn't Han's daughter [in The Force Awakens]", so it's not actually that ambiguous.
    I mean, if she thought TFA answered the question and at the same time thought it obvious she wasn't Han's daughter then it can only mean she isn't a Solo.

    Let us say it is most logical that everyhing officialy said for upcoming 2 +(is it?) billion dollars film is well measured , minimizing spoil effect and maximizing teasing,and in a case of a particular important story plot subject is to much exposed, the debate is re-directed in some other way.

    Errrm, you're the one who brought the quote up a good few pages back. Then when we bring up the (actual) quote and others to show that she actually means the opposite to what you suggest, you say it is misdirection.

    Daisy says she thought TFA made it obvious...you point to Han.
    Daisy says it is obvious Han wasn't her father...you cll misdirection.

    JJ says Rey's parent's aren't in TFA...you say misdirection.
    JJ says Rey's parents are not revealed to her in TFA...you say "proof!".
    Yet at the same time:
    You say the Leia/Rey hug shows they know they're related...
    ...yet when the JJ "they're not revealed as her parents in TFA" quote comes up...silence.


    Daisy has said on numerous occasions now that she felt TFA was about making a family. She said her and Finn "find their family" (as in make one together with the other characters). She has said that where she comes from isn't important. And when you keep this in mind when she says that she thought TFA answered it, the answer is obvious - her parents are dead.

    You treathened Reylo team fight like lions. I give you that.

    However paradoxes are on your side.

    I know its desperate, If Han is father, incest, if Luke is father again, incest.

    So there must be esotheric explanation for Reylo. (No one parents, Force incarnation is parent, Ben Kenobi is of course not parent but could be a grand-(grand)-parent, whataya know), all convoluted explanations because of... romance expectation.

    So expectation is noble but as I said ReyLo can't happen as it requires convoluted or esotheric Rey's parentage.

    Nope.
    I'm just saying that Rey Solo theory is 99% not going to happen (unless LFL have a wish to create plot holes).
    I believe that ReyLo will happen in some form, but fully admit that she could be Luke's daughter (so no romantic ReyLo), a Kenobi or Palpatine.
    But my #1 explanation is that her parents have Dark Side origins and are dead. But i'd accept any of the other three I mentioned above.
    Rey Solo...nope. Dead.

    Honestly I don't care for Reylo as Kylo Ren is not going to end up with anyone & Ben Solo just needs some one to be there when he realises that his entire world view is wrong & Snoke has been messing with him for years & when that happens he will be in no fit state to have any kind of romantic relationship. Also if Rey turns out to be his long lost sister who he thinks was killed then that is just going to mess him up even more. However having this stranger who should by all rights hate him & want him dead instead actually shows him compassion then that is going to be a very powerful moment. Not that I want Ben to come back just for Rey this is something he has to do of his own free will but having someone outside the family also showing him some for forgiveness after that creates a very powerful end to IX.

    I claim Rey is gona find Kylo murdered her father to. Whats up with the plot drama behind her chasing Kylo for killed only his father?
    If he killed THEIR father the stakes are lifted many times,and options for both Rey and Kylo.
    Calling Rey Solo not neccessary is calling Han's death almost insignificant.

    That's nonsense. IMO making Rey a Solo would really make Han's death insignificant. His father can't save Ben but his sister can? Yeah, that sounds like great storytelling... Rey being unrelated to Ren would give much more meaning to the whole story.
