In TFA Leia says to Han that it was a mistake to send Ben away - that's when she lost him.
In Bloodlines, she shows great regret at not telling Ben the truth about his family sooner.

Yet you think that in TFA, when she finds her long lost, presumed dead daughter, that she'd not tell her the truth and send her away?!

 

Of course, and that is my point. Leia knows it was a mistake to send Ben away and not tell him the truth. Yet you're suggesting she does the same with Rey.

What? She is saying that when she sent Ben to Luke, she realises this was a mistake as it broke up the family.

Ben being a difficult child with issues. I mean, in this very scene they say how he was too much like Vader and it was Snoke's fault! No mention of this tragedy that, yes if it happened, would be a great reason for him to go off the rails. But they don't talk about it - or her - ever. Heck, what a great bit of information to use to bring Ben back to the light: "Your sister is alive!".

Exactly - and she thought it a mistake to send her child away the first time and not tell him the truth about his family. Do you think she'd seriously do this again?

 

OK then where is the proof that the outfit she is wearing in front of rey is aleraan ceremonial royal garb? Not just some other formal attire?

OK I'll concede that point but that still doesn't do anything to confirm your theory that she is attired like that to honour rey. It could be in remembrance of han or for a multitude of other reasons. You are still twisting the facts to further your own fiction.

You don't know that for 100% unless you are telling me you have read the script. You are dismissing theories that contradict yours based on your OPINION not evidence. That is why most disagree with you because you don't back up your conclusions with fact and nor do you acknowledge that others could be right and you could (god willing) be wrong.

I admit any theory no matter how preposterous at this stage could still be possible. However there are soooooooo many plot holes to cover up in the rey solo theory that in my opinion would take a near miracle to pull off convincingly. All the evidence so far completely contradicts your views and you have supplied no knowledge to make me think otherwise.

 

The Resistance has just scored a huge victory against the First order by destroying starkiller base. She is there to welcome back the heroic pilots and heroes that achieved this victory.

at least that is what any leader would do when there victorious soldiers return. When the US president goes to meet veterans (from any conflict), he is going to wear a smart suit, he wouldn't greet them wearing a tracksuit bottom and a sports top.

 

John Williams definitely created a masterpiece with Rey's theme. I love her theme and look forward to hearing it again in TLJ.
