    Kylo looks like he has a lot of power but also not the most graceful fighter

    Anakin had amazing saber skills

    both are mentally/emotionally all over the place

    Who do you think would win if they had fought? why?

    If this story went off the rails and Kylo turns to the light, and Snoke shows his ace...which is a Anakin clone. This fight could happen.

    I think ROTS Anakin was more skilled than Kylo at this point in time, as he had much more practice and dueling than Kylo (I'm assuming of course because we dont exactly know how his training went), but depending on who Snoke is truly, and how he "completes his training," we may see an even more powerful and skillful Kylo by the end.

    Not even close. Anakin would massacre Ren. Although injured and conflicted, Kylo couldnt hold his own vs an untrained Rey.

    Kylo Ren preys to Anakin; although as darth vader still same guy, to be as good as him. Mayby at the end of this trilogy itll be different but for now Anakin all the way.

    Im pretty sure Anakin would put Kylo on his head before he would even do anything. Big skill level differences here but a good comparison.

    Anakin for sure but lets have this conversation again in a year and a half when episode 8 is out. I have a sneaking suspicion that Kylo Ren is going to be next level and may very well come out on top.

    No contest. Anakin in a boat race.
    2 battles with Dooku plus all the other Jedi crap he had to do vs. a barely trained hothead with zero practical experience in dueling force sensitive beings.

    Now, had GL been involved with TFA, I'm sure Kylo could have been far more trained in the arts of fanciful pirouettes and rhythm gymnastics. At that point it might be much closer.

    How about this... Could Kylo have possibly screwed with Anakins mind during a duel??? He has a proclivity towards it, and ol' Anakin certainly was susceptible to negative thoughts here and there. Just some food for thought.

    I guess Anakin, he fought in the clone wars many years and was a young veteran so to speak.
    In ROTS he was near his prime.

    if Anakin knew Kylo was his grandson, would he be able to kill him? He couldn't kill Luke but Kylo could killed his dad. But would he be able to kill tha man that became his idol Vader?

    Anakin, not just because he was trained Jedi and one of the strongest ones, but because when he went dark, it was 100% dark. He kills the younglings, chokes his wife, fights his mentor. No hesitation whatsoever. He would have wiped the floor with Kylo Ben.

    I think Kylo is better compared to Anakin in AOTC. Powerful, but too arrogant by far, with a long way to go before he realizes his full potential. I think a fully trained Sith would wipe the floor with Kylo from TFA.

    Kylo would have a hard time against that room full of younglings in that scene with the map in Attack of the CLones.
