Rumor: Star Wars Land to Be Called Star Wars: Galaxys Edge

A redditor recently stumbled upon code text indicating the highly anticipated 'Star Wars Land' park extensions coming to Disney World and Disneyland might be called 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge'. There is no confirmation of this yet, so stay tuned.





A post on reddit shows that a user stumbled upon the source code for a post on the official Disney Parks Blog which appears to reveal the name of the upcoming Disney Star Wars theme park extensions as 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge'.







For a long time now, we've been told this land would represent a never before seen canon planet in the Star Wars galaxy, so the name 'Galaxy's Edge' certainly sounds like somewhere we're not all that familiar with. It certainly has a more exciting sound to it than 'Star Wars Land', so if it's true sign us up!





What do you think? Do you think this is the real deal, or was Disney clever enough to put that out as a red herring? Does the theme park name really need to be that big of a secret? I am thinking this might be legit, not everything needs to be shrouded in secrecy right? We just may find out for sure tomorrow!

From what we have heard and seen today the park sounds like an incredibly innovative interactive experience. You can seriously crash the Falcon and deal with the consequences of that elsewhere in the park later! I know one thing, regardless of whether it's called 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' or not, we are all in!
