    The Falcon looks too clean. Refurbishments might explain that, but its unlikely because its only a base model freighter. And the ship itself was known by other names when it was factory new before 85 BBY.

    She was at least 53 years old during Episode 1
    63 years old in Episode 2.
    66 years old in Episode 3.
    85 years old in Episode 4.
    119 years old in Episodes 7 and 8.

    I mentioned it in the other thread, but this lighting and atmos of this shot immediately reminded me of the opening shot of the interior of the LAPD station in Blade Runner.

    What with Young Indy, Blade Runner 2049 and now Solo, I can't help but think that my "we don't need to see any more backstory/follow up of *insert Harrison Ford sf/fantasy character*" opinion is being rapidly eroded... well apart from Indy 4 and Ender's Game obviously :rolleyes:

    I just want to (redundantly) echo what everyone else is saying... that looks brilliant. The Star Destroyer design has to be almost as iconic as the Falcon by now!

    I'm guessing this is Phoebe Waller-Bridge's mo-cap 'droid, yes?

    Definitely... though I'm waiting for someone on here to shout 'Space Sauron' :D

    Great catch! I'd not seen the toys, but that one definitely has enough similarities to suggest they're the same character

    Thanks for that.

    When I saw the 'clean Falcon' I thought his arc might involve him getting a brand new one vs. ending up with the Falcon. AKA the 'white falcon' is him being shown a brand new model that he'll receive if he does well at the academy or something like that.

    I'm sure I'm late realising and someone will have already said, but it just occurred to me how Imperial the clean Falcon interior looks being all black and white. Stormtroopers could play a kick-ass game of hide and seek in there!

    Wookieepedia states that Han Solo was born in 29 BBY, 3 years before Episode 1. This means Han is 29 years old in Episode 4.

    If being an adult at the age of 18 is a requirement to join the Empire, then the Solo film takes place in 11 BBY - which means the Falcon of that time is at least 74 years old.

    The IG-88 gameplay was some of the BEST SW gameplay of all gameplays! That and the dianoga kept me up at night. GREAT game!! (And a great reference as well)

    You done good, sir/ma'am. You done good.

    Side note: Can we get an IG-88 spinoff in my lifetime. I'd gladly pay you Tuesday......

    Looks like the toy for sure, but is it confirmed that the toy is a Kessel guard? From the way the new trailer frames this guy, he/she looks a lot more important than a regular lackey.
