    Imagine you're a kid in 1977. It's Christmas Morning, you wake up, rip open your prezzies and you get this....

    Yeah, its just cardboard, the "Star Wars Early Bird Certificate Package". Literally a box with a certificate that promised you "we'll send you your toys when we actually make them sometime in 1978". This happened!

    "Hours of fun" on Christmas Day!!!

    These 1995 VHS tapes were the last "original" theatrical versions of the Star Wars trilogy. And I still have mine. :p
    In 1997, the horribly "enhanced" (ruined) Special Editions were released, which are the ones still around on DVD (2004) and Bluray (with additional CGI and sound edits).
