    Star Wars violence usually involves warriors or passerby being chewed up by giant monsters or peoples' limbs being chopped off by the laser light-sabres.

    Darth Vader is more intellectual about violence, while Darth Maul is more savage.

    It seems that violence in Star Wars represents the child-like fear of shock.
