I can see the demo of the game being available at Celebration.

I will be checking the game out then posting my impression here.

 

Can't wait but I will be disappointed if the clone wars aren't added. I can def deal with it though. I'm highly sure that they will give us dlc that takes place between VI and VII

 

Rumors say the game will cover The Clone Wars (Episode II, TCW cartoon, Episode III), The Galactic Civil War (maybe Rebels, Episodes IV-VI), and the gap leading up to The Force Awakens, I'm not sure if that is the same GCW as seen in the OT or not.

 

The trailer and demo will be on April 17th

is it possible the teaser from about a week ago is from the Hoth sequence in the movie? Iv never played any of the battlefront games so I wouldn't know if they follow the films like a campaign mode.

 

If I remember correctly they kind of bounce around, including scenes that weren't in the movies.

Apparently they're releasing 3 images a day, starting yesterday (4/13/2015). I imagine tomorrow's will be the last set to complete the image.

That being said, the lack of a name makes this a bit... sketchy at best. So I'd take this with a grain of salt. However, I do hope we get SOME kind of special edition. I've been waiting 10+ years for this.

According to a community manager on the Star Wars Battlefront reddit, this is not a Space Trooper. So, judging by the gear, I'm guessing this is more than likely an Imperial Marine, which was the 2nd playable class in SWBF2's Space Assault game mode. That or it could be a generic Stormtrooper with a breathing apparatus, possibly for environments that have little to no oxygen.

Time will tell.

 

Yep. I just read an article from another site saying their source "confirmed" the release date and it will be revealed at tomorrow's BF panel. I've never played the previous games but will definitely be playing this one.
