    It seems like a lot of people agree that Kylo Ren is offering his hand to Rey but the opposite shot with Rey's face is taken from another sequence.
    But I just realized : why would they do that ? If Rey is indeed in front of him, why not just show the actual shot in the trailer?

    Anyway, we are almost there guys.

    Because they wanted Rey's line "I need someone to show me my place in all this". And also to not give away the whole scene, it's probably Rey that gets offered the hand, but we don't know that for sure.

    And this scene likely happens at the end when Rey is a bit beat up and her reaction to him/way she is with him would reveal what likely happens.

    It almost sounds like he's saying "powerful light, power from darkness"... but I doubt that's what it is. The "powerful light" definitely comes through more clearly though, at least imo so that's probably what it is.

    That's what it sounds like to me, but it doesn't sound like Luke to me. I am not sure who else it could be though.

    It doesn't to me either. And it doesn't sound like Snoke/Kylo/Finn/Poe. Honestly, I think it sounds a bit like Benicio Del Toro. But it's probably a case of me wanting it to be him than it actually sounding like him.

    I would assume that the secrecy with which they are handling the press tour also means that we should not do a lot of reading into the commercials. I mean, it could happen, but to me it makes little sense to try and glean things from the promos.
