    That is some surprising stuff right there. I was thinking they would hold back on the last 5 sec of that spot. I would have never guessed they would hint so strongly at a potential major spoiler.

    Hmmm these maybe separate thread worthy questions but I think there are a crazy amount of implications in that last scene of that TV spot.

    I believe the only other time a person on the light side (at least supposedly in the moment) has force called a red light saber is Anakin killing Dooku. Might that similarity imply a connection in that Rey is tapping into some dark side?
    If Rey has the light saber, what could that mean for Kylo's status? Is he dead? Injured? (in the one still it looks like a sort of black garbed person on the ground) Or does he pass it off to her and she receives it?

    • I don't think that there is any precedence set or established for there needing to be dark intentions to wield a lightsaber with a red crystal.
    • Maybe he is injured, incapacitated or she may have even straight-up ripped it out of his hands.

    The weirdest thing is I cannot understand whether or not the guards are attacking her, they react at the same time she takes the lightsaber (looks like it).
    Maybe they just take a little while to turn to face her, but idk ... It's already not going the way we thought

    Anakin (anakin ghost) was tired of the dispute surrounding the name of his former weapon, so he popped in to take it back
    (kylo ren) Kylo ren has a heart attack upon seeing granpapa and dies, Rey picks this (crossguard) stares at it and goes : Hello there ! (obi-wan 3)
    Audience is in shock, she said "hello there" so Rey Kenobi confirmed because words are a family thing.
    And uh ... Oh yes ! Snoke and Luke kiss, it creates life (luke)

    My baby girl (obi-wan ghost)... credits roll

    The sound in the commercial might not be final for the film, but you hear what sounds like Anakin's/Rey's saber (more than it does Kylo's) ignite a hair before you hear the pop of the vents of Kylo's saber. So, either the commercial has unfinished or placeholder sound or her saber is being ignited very close by.
