    We'll have to agree to disagree on the NJO; it is still some of my favorite EU material :). I honestly never read Dark Empire, just read the synopsis of Wookieepedia, and you make a few good points, but that kind of stuff I could always smooth over in my mind; I specialize in rationalizing characters and their motivations when not explicitly stated on-page :D. Btw, if you thought the Sun Crusher was bad, I see you and raise you one Teljkon Vagabond, lol.

    I still don't see Uprising, or any new EU material so far, being all that significant. Really, all we've gotten is "The Empire fragmented after Endor", which is essentially what happened in the old EU, just with different tent-pole events. I guess it'll be up to the game itself to change my mind upon release.

    I agree with bigbayblue, I think making absolutely everything canon may start to get ridiculous at some point. For instance, in the new Ultimate Star Wars book which is a guide to the new canon, there are some small blurbs dedicated to several characters from the Star Wars Commander mobile game. Frankly, these parts felt out of place in the book, and made me wonder if it's really important for characters from a mobile game that isn't really story driven to begin with to be canon.

    That isn't to say that I think things being part of canon is a bad thing, but rather, that it is possible to go overboard with it. However, since Uprising will be canon to some degree, let's hope it brings something good to the table, in both gameplay and story.

    I think what you're saying about Uprising will be true, in some form. I see a mix of the Shattered Empire comics, the Aftermath novels trilogy, Uprising, and more unannounced media all forming the general atmosphere and history of the galaxy after ROTJ. I feel that Uprising will be important and giving immediate examples of the Empire scrambling and trying to hold together, but yeah, I guess we'll just wait and see. I still expect a miniseries to come out of the game though. Teljkon Vagabond is a bit overdone. I admit, but I still can't comprehend how the Sun Crusher would destroy a star system, and how it was also able to withstand and rip through a Star Destroyer... :p

    I wonder if I have missed something.
    My Friend, who is on a google phone can play it already. I can't find it in the App Store but he keeps sending me video/screens of him playing it. All I can see is a September release wherever I look and Kabam hasn't, as far as I know, said its out yet?

    Oh, and I must have lied when I said video. Looked too quickly in my inbox. Only screens but the character has his nickname on top. This is weird.

    No, only some countries like New Zealand have it. North America does not have it yet, but if you had Android, you could just get the app and run it like I am :(
