Steph Green, who directed Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett's 'Chapter Two: The Tribes of Tatooine', has revealed that she will be directing at least one episode of the upcoming Disney Plus series Star Wars: Ahsoka.

On her Instagram profile (hat tip r/StarWarsLeaks, see screenshot below), Green has recently added a new show credit to compliment her involvement with HBO's Watchmen and her short film New Boy: her second Star Wars series, centered around the fan-favorite character who made her debut in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars back in 2008. Fans have also noticed that she has followed several members of the cast who have Instagram pages of their own, including Rosario Dawson, who is playing Ahsoka Tano, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who is playing Sabine Wren, and Ivanna Sakhno, who is portraying an as-of-yet unidentified character. Some of Green's other credits include the like of FX's The Americans, HBO's The Deuce, Netflix and Disney Plus's Luke Cage, and Amazon's The Man in the High Castle.

So far, other creatives involved with Ahsoka include the likes of Dave Filoni, who will direct multiple episodes, including the pilot, and is writing all episodes. Filoni will showrun the series, which is executive produced by himself, Jon Favreau, and Kathleen Kennedy. Peter Ramsey is also confirmed to be directing at least one episode. Aside from Dawson, Bordizzo, and Sakhno, the show's cast will see the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker (and possibly as Darth Vader, as he revisited both roles in Obi-Wan Kenobi last year), the debut of Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger (making the jump from the animated series Star Wars Rebels to live-action alongside Sabine, Chopper, and Hera Syndulla), and other roles that will be filled out by the likes of Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ray Stevenson. Winstead is rumored to be playing Hera, but we are still waiting for official confirmation.

Star Wars: Ahsoka is set to debut on Disney Plus sometime later this year.

A year ending series to look forward to with talent from previous series offerings, most anticipated.

Yes, I'm all in for the SW family developing their own people as opposed to this "flavor of the week" schtik that seems to be going on over on the movie side. There is some top-notch talent already working on SW stuff.
