SW Launch Bay - DW Hollywood Studios - Aug 2018

Fellow Cantinians, we just concluded an 8-day Disneyworld Vacation and decided to break out pix and info from Launch Bay there at Hollywood Studios into separate thread. We had a great time and the Launch Bay was very popular and crowded as always. They have incorporated many items from SOLO into their collection and it is really great - highly recommend a long visit if you go there.

For those who have never been to Disneyworld (DW) in Florida or Disneyland (DL) in California, each currently has a "Star Wars Area" in the parks. In DW it is in Disney Hollywood Studios (one of the 4 main parks there, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom are the other 3). In DL California, Star Wars is currently incorporated directly into Magic Kingdom. DL only has 2 parks, Magic Kingdom and Disney California Adventure.

Each Star Wars area in DW and DL has a "Launch Bay", which is an indoor area full of movie-used props, photos, art, and a places to do "character visits" - you can currently visit Chewie, Kylo Ren and BB8.
