    I can say it's growing on me. :)
    Still as a first resumee I'd have to go with rather (!) disappointed.
    Main reasons:
    - the lack of the big 3 ( wow how many times did I see bearded Luke in my mind. Was so looking forward to that).
    - tone: I want a serious tone...but with adventuruos atmosphere. This is almost Game Of Thrones'ish. I love GoT but it's not SW. I'm confident we'll get that adventure feeling in the film though.
    - CGI: -That falcon shot was a disappointment to me. Crazy camera movement and C.G.I. written all over it. Still I'm happy to see it back in action though.
    - Camera: As cool as the troopers look that shot was typical JJ...in a negative way. I don't want that shaky fast cut stuff in Star Wars.
    - Look: JJ said he wanted it to feel like from another era. Judging by this it does NOT. Which is ok. But don't promise it ;)

    Positives:
    - Realistic look: First shots look great. It's touchable and it has that SW vibe.
    - Camera: JJ...in a positive way...I like that Boyega shot. Kinda scared me :)
    - No lens flares: There were some but not the JJ way. Very good.
    - tease: It did what a teaser does: It teased us. A lot of black screen :D
    - voice over: Nice voice work. Am not sure how Star Wars'y it is. But it's 1000 times greater than "Meesa deesa" or "oh oh" :)

    Might add some points. As I said above: It's growing. :)

    Agreed!!! Looks like at the very LEAST this will be a very entertaining movie. Love the way the camera was moving around the Falcon in that last shot. Good stuff.

    I had my doubts about that lightsaber when the concept photo leaked. Now, after seeing it in action with it's "rough blade" animation I got to say it looks pretty cool.

    Still digesting the teaser.Im also curious about who is doing the voice over.I was one of the guys dissing the saber before.I have not changed my mind about it.But like someone already mentioned.It looks like something made in a garage,unstable and like vents for the very powerfull vibrating beam.Indie style if that makes sense and as such it works for me.I can see this dude wielding it in a simple,powerfull way...lacking elegance and techniques of master swords men like say obi and dooku,but making it up with uhm..stable stances and powerfull strikes...

    That could have been anyone's voice given what's capable with modulation etc. Did that voice sound like the dragon Cumberbatch voices in the Hobbit films? That's the only reason I'd bet AGAINST it being him... Don't think JJ would want to use Benedict as VO to a second CG creation in the wake of The Hobbit films. (Hoping it's MvS myself... Just lends some weight to this eons old superbadass.)

    One other question: the VO says there has been an awakening... We see both Boyega and Ridley (the light side force awakeners lol) then we see Driver (the dark side awakener) which would seem to balance the scales, right? Don't see how/where Luke's super powerful Jedi master fits into this. Unless he has been AWOL so Plageous is referencing the new energy he feels?

    The camera move is very similar to one in TESB... I think it's awesome; almost touching the sand. I don't see that CGI look! MAybe a little bit in the x-wing scene.

    One thing that Star Wars has always done is that if you hear dialogue in the trailers then usually it is a fairly important scene in the films (with some exceptions)

    What context is Serkis/MvS/Cumberbatch saying this? This suggests that they're force sensitive, and who on Earth would they be saying this to? It's spoken in a very ominous way, as in "I'm a bad guy"

    THAT TRAILER WAS FFFFRIGGIN' AMAZING!!!
    It's everything i hoped it would (with the exception of Luke's absence).
    It first i thought it was fake until boyega popped up in costume and the music was so tense and he looked terrified, and i felt a chill run up my spine and a lump in my throat! ill be analyzing this all day for clues and hints.

    I think so far:
    - Voice is Serkis (will be listening back to see if there is a second voice)
    - Daisy looks like shes running too
    - Tie fighters are searching for Boyega and The Falcon is defending / rescuing Boyega and Ridley
    - Lightsaber is POWERFUL, the sides are vents and can be adjusted. SICK now that ive seen it in motion
    - I have almost no doubt now that Star Wars is BACK, and I am going to love this film

    WHO IS THAT BADASS VILLAIN?!?!?!
