The Book of Boba Fett Wins Outstanding Special Visual Effects at the Creative Arts Emmys

    The Book of Boba Fett took home some gold during last night's Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Out of its four nominations, the show took home Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Season or a Movie. Also up for the award in this category were Stranger Things, The Witcher, Lost in Space, and Foundation.

    Among those specifically recognized for the award, we can find: visual effects supervisor Richard Bluff, visual effects producer Abbigail Keller, animation supervisor Paul Kavanagh, associate visual effects supervisor Cameron Neilson, special effects supervisor Scott Fisher, Legacy Effects supervisor John Rosengrant, ILM visual effects supervisor Enrico Damm, Image Engine visual effects supervisor Robin Hackl, and virtual production visualization supervisor Landis Fields.

    As far as its other three Emmy nominations, Stranger Things got the win in Outstanding Stunt Coordination, and episode 7 of the Netflix series' latest season won for Outstanding Sound Editing. What We Do in the Shadows won for Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes. Elsewhere, Star Wars: Visions lost out to Netflix's Love, Death + Robots in the Outstanding Short Form Animated Program category.
