The future of the Millenium Falcon in the ST and beyond to the SST

Should the Millennium Falcon be inherited by Rey & survive the ST to appear in Episodes 10-12?

    My favorite starship has always been the Millennium Falcon. Why? Because it can fly from one side of the galaxy to the other in days or weeks. It can soar through space like a jet plane. And it has a rich history many decades before ANH. It has been owned by many people and gone under different names before it was owned by Lando then Han. It took part in the final battle of the Clone Wars and a few other battles between ROTS and ANH and of course made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. Most likely we'll see a young Han Solo do the Kessel Run in the Falcon in the Han Solo anthology film due May 25,2018.

    But what will be the future of our favorite YT-1300 Corellian Stocklight Freighter? If Han is to die in TFA. Who will inherit the Falcon? Most likely it might be inherited by Rey since she will fly it in TFA. Perhaps Rey and Finn and even Poe will have many adventures and fight in multiple space battles in the Falcon throughout the ST and perhaps even in Episodes X-XII the SST. Will Rey pass the Falcon on to her kids at the end of Episode 12. And her kids will be the crew in a fifth trilogy of Episodes XIII-XV.

    As much as I adore the millennium falcon I don't want to see it in the next sequel trilogy. That isn't to say I want to see it destroyed in episodes 7-9. I want to know it's out in the galaxy somewhere. I want new characters for the next trilogy with a completely different story. I like the idea of a whole new saga. As much as I've loved the skywalker saga I think it should end with this sequel trilogy. Three skywalker trilogys seem to be a good number. It's a huge galaxy after all with countless stories to be told. Another skywalker trilogy after this one would be too much I think.

    I'd rather see the darth bane trilogy come to that. Those books were awesome. There is so much more to the star wars universe than the skywalker saga.

    I think the Falcon is ICONIC and I want to see it moving forward in the entire sequel trilogy. It would be a shame if they blew it up. As a kid the FALCON was the good guy ship for me and I always chased with my white TIE FIGHTER.

    Should the Falcon live on yes. But it won't go to Rey it will go to Poe.

    How about the Falcon dies in a blaze of glory in Episode IX and in Episodes X-XII there is a Millennium Falcon II owned by Rey and Finn. But I think it would be better if Han passed on the Falcon to Rey and Finn in Ep.9 and they have many adventures in the Falcon in Episodes 10-12.

    The Newer ship in the SST(Episodes 10-12) should at least be a Corellian stocklight freighter. Perhaps an updated model.

    What's wrong with seeing the Falcon in Episodes 10-12? Being inherited by the new heroes? I can't think of SW without the Falcon. THE FALCON SHOULD DEFINITELY BE IN EPISODES 10-12 inherited by new characters whether the Skywalker or Solo descendants or other new characters.
