    I hope Rey is the descendant of a Nightsister or some other dark witch....it would be nice if she had dark origins but not necessarily a sith lineage....as for Luke's planet, I'm looking forward to seeing all the mysterious creatures on the island....and wasn't there a really old rumor dating back to 2015 that Luke was guarding a tomb and being bothered by spirits so is a bit unhinged? That would be interesting.

    my current pet theory:

    when Kylo Ren is speaking to Vader's helmet, saying, "i will finish what you started," he's referring to Anakin's attempt to learn how control the Force to keep the ones he loves from dying. this was the core reason Anakin turned to the dark side: to learn how to save Padme.

    what if Ben Solo ended up meeting someone and fell in love while training with uncle Luke, or even beforehand? what if that person got injured, or sick, and is now in stasis in some bacta tank or something?

    Ben is desperately trying to do what's right by him and the one he loves, but he is out of his depth and making terrible decisions because he's too caught up in his own drama.

    i like this particular theory because A) it gives Ben/Kylo a layer of humanity; B) it keeps the story on topic: this is about Vader's legacy; C) it's a story that revolves around a Skywalker (just in case Rey is indeed random).
