    Lol

    You have to check lots of Spanish titles. In the country it's a funny and great debate because there are a lot of silly/non sense titles. There are nostalgic ones that are good because of that and actual ones with correct translations but lots of them are like jokes, like "Wtf are you talking about"

    You can write a book with the translation titles in spanish. Sometimes it's hilarious.

    By the way, in spanish The Last Jedi, "El último Jedi" or catalan "´L'últim Jedi" both are singular and masculin. They are good, but there is no ambiguity.

    In Italian, Jedi is plural and Jede is singular. To avoid disappointing Italian Star Wars fans, Disney have decided not to release "The Last Jedi" in Italy.
    ;)

    To keep the german title as open as the english original you would have to make it unreadable like the text of a law.
    "Der/die letzte(n) Jedi-Ritter(innen)"
    But it could get a little bit difficult to fully convince the marketing people of LFL and(/or) Disney. :D

    Just keep the English title. I didn't like the translation of TFA ("Das Erwachen der Macht").

    Bad enough and very sad, that the craziest racist of all time was born here. Nevertheless not all Austrians are narrow minded in modern times. Like everywhere on earth it often is frightning easy to get someone who collects the frustrations of the crowds and gives them some escape goats to project all their bad feelings against them. I always liked SW for showing also these aspects of "intelligent" beings with very "human" weaknesses.

    Hitler was born in Austria, but that doesn't automatically mean all Austrians are Hitler, in modern times.

    @2K-D2,
    I know. Hopefully and as far as I know from positive feedbacks every now and then, I give my best to be one of the more open minded, non racist Austrians :)

    But Hitler believed he was a German and that technically Austria did not exist. :)

    And Godwin' Law strikes again. Could get this thread back on track, please?

    SO here is my take: not one SW Outlet got any info from LFL if it is plural/singular.
