I watched TFA 3 times and I didn’t like it. I’ll be watching this at every possible opportunity.

2 billions? No way. TFA premiere was one in a lifetime event. But it will make more money, than initial predictions. Way more than Rogue One. Which would be crazy, considering that we have a new Star Wars movie every year.

    Cinemascore gave an A- to ep. 1 e 2.
And an A to TFA and R1.

I don't thik it matters that much.
And I don't think the first one or two weeks will tell us how the box office will go, in the long run.

Yeah. But this is SW new release scheme a la marvel, but thankfully not multiple films per year.

It’ll make more than Rogue One because that was a spin-off, TLJ is a main episoded title. So they can advertise Luke, Jedi etc are in it.
    I’m going next week again!

I saw TFA 4 times. TLJ is a "one and done" for me.

I guess no one is actually reading this thread before they post. The 56 score on RT is meaningless and unscientific. It's a measure of desperation. The scientific measures of audience reaction is doing as well as TFA. The people who didn't like this film are a very small minority. They're loud, but they're small.

One other note... isn't it odd that so many people who didn't like the film keep citing the RT score like it's gospel and yet seem to be unaware that the real measure of the audience was overwhelmingly positive?

Tell you what. General audience, even quite a bit of big fans of every franchises, don't go posting about movie on internet if they liked it. They might comment something on Facebook, add something to Twitter, and that's it. I myself never voted on IMDB or RT. But those, who hates something? Oh boy, they want to inform the whole world about it. Because how dare you like it? Go see negative user reviews on RT - most of them give it 1,3 or 3/10 only to bring down the score as much as they can. And I know that, because I was once in my life part of that angry mob. It was after premiere of a game Mass Effect 3. I hated the ending so much, that I ranted about it everywhere for many weeks. I was one of those people who voted on EA being the worst company in US, even though I'm from Europe. It took me years to finally accept the game for what it was and enjoy it. I wanted to force people to understand how bad that ending was. I see something simliar with TLJ, though at least in case of ME3 ending I had valid reasons. Giving 1-2/10 for TLJ is like saying it's worse than Movie 43. There are things objectively good, like cinematography, sound design, and it alone makes it better than 3/10 IN MY OPINION.

how much TLJ Must do, to be a success? 1.5 Billions? Less ? 1billions is enough? if we compare with rogue 1 and tfa? Since 2 billions is impossible.
