Lucasfilm has revealed the first official poster for The Mandalorian season 3 to announce the marketing campaign begins tonight with the premiere of the official trailer during halftime of the Monday Night Football game.

Check out the new poster here:

The explosive image puts Din Djarin and Grogu front and center, letting viewers know the new season will continue the themes from the last two (and a half): Din is here to protect Grogu and is forming a new clan of two. In doing so, he will get into a fight or two, and might not come out on top every time, but he will always fire back.

The main cast and crew from the two previous seasons are back, including Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Amy Sedaris (Peli Motto), and Emily Swallow (the Armorer). Jon Favreau is back as the main writer and executive producer; Dave Filoni is also executive producing and co-writing two episodes. Rick Famuyiwa and Carl Weathers are confirmed to direct, and according to reports, so will Bryce Dallas Howard.

This is the official synopsis for the third season:

New episodes of The Mandalorian will start streaming on Disney Plus on March 1. Tune in tonight after 9pm ET for the release of the official trailer (the specific time depends on when the game goes to halftime).
