Lucasfilm is celebrating that the premiere episode of The Mandalorian season 3 is now available on Disney Plus, and they've just revealed two new posters from the new season that, as we can see in the header image above, work best when they are put together.

Check them out in full below:

The two posters are focused on one of the central conflicts of season 3 -- the fight over the Darksaber between Bo-Katan and Din Djarin. Without getting into spoilers for those who still haven't seen the episode, we'll just say that the topic is brought up in Chapter 17 and will continue to evolve over the next few chapters of the story.

The first episode of the new season was written by Jon Favreau and directed by Rick Famuyiwa, who after directing two episodes in the first season and another episode in the second season, was promoted to executive producer in the third season and also directed three episodes -- the first, the seventh, and the finale. The title character of the Mandalorian was portrayed on set by three people: Lateef Crowder, who puts on the suit for the action sequences, Brendan Wayne, who is usually the guy in the suit in the quieter scenes that involve talking and standing up, and Pedro Pascal, who provides the voice and is in the suit whenever Din Djarin takes his helmet off. From reports, Pascal did spend some time on the set of the third season even though the schedules coincided with the time The Last of Us was shooting up in Canada. Katee Sackhoff, along with four other stunt people, brought Bo-Katan to life in the new season.

You can check out our review of this episode here, which contains our thoughts with and without spoilers. We will be reviewing each individual episode the day they drop, so check back on us every Wednesday. Meanwhile, more coverage from The Mandalorian season 3 is dropping every day, so stay tuned for more on the new season.
