Lucasfilm continues on with their promotion for the third season of The Mandalorian, which debuts on Disney Plus on March 1, and in addition to revealing a 40-second clip and a recap video, they have also unveiled a new poster from season 3 focused on the four main Mandalorian characters.

Check it out in full here:

They are, of course, going right to left: Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff), the Armorer (Emily Swallow), and Paz Vizsla (Jon Favreau). With two seasons of The Mandalorian and one season of The Book of Boba Fett now behind us, there is a lot of baggage here. As the wielder of the Darksaber, Din has a legitimate claim to the throne of Mandalore, according to Mandalorian traditions and despite his hesitations about it. That immediately established a rivalry with Bo-Katan Kryze, who was revealed in season 2 to have been hunting down the legendary weapon for some time -- she was once its owner too, but because she didn't follow the tradition of winning it over in combat, she failed to unite her people, and the Empire took it from her during the Great Purge.

Her goal in season 2 was to confront and defeat Moff Gideon to finally gain full control of the weapon and be able to bring all Mandalorians together under one rule. Well, maybe not all Mandalorians -- as she explained in season 2, the Children of the Watch are a group of radicals who went off on their own and followed strict and self-imposed rules that clashed with the rest of the Mandalorians'. Din Djarin grew up in that environment, which prohibited people from removing their helmets.

Two of the fiercest representatives of the Children of the Watch are the Armorer and Paz Vizsla. The former still has a big influence over Din Djarin, despite the fact that he's leaning away from their Way more and more every day as he establishes a new clan with Grogu. She has commended him with a quest to find the living waters of Mandalore, where he must seek forgiveness for his transgressions -- removing his helmet in front of others. Paz Vizsla, however, comes from a long family line that goes all the way back to the creator of the Darksaber, Tarre Vizsla, and seems to be looking at having the Darksaber back with the family that first created it.

There is a lot going on in season 3, and on top of all of it, these four might not even be the only famous Mandalorians showing up. The door is definitely not shut on Boba Fett making a comeback, and there is a very real possibility of Sabine Wren making her live-action debut here as well.

Answers are on the way, with new episodes of The Mandalorian coming on March 1 to Disney Plus.
