Pedro Pascal was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week to talk about The Last of Us, and in the conversation, the topic of The Mandalorian season 3 was brought up. While he couldn't say much about the new episodes, he hinted that we might be getting some heavy Mandalorian action, much like what the trailers indicated.

When asked to provide new details on the third season, Pedro Pascal simply teased that there might be more than one battle featuring multiple Mandalorians:

He then joked that Grogu won't be in the new season because Disney couldn't figure out his contract, before he said a few words about the baby's presence in the new season:

Pedro Pascal was not heavily involved in filming the third season, since the schedules coincided with his time shooting The Last of Us, meaning the heavy lifting on set was done by his two stunt doubles, Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder. He might have been brought on during reshoots last summer to film any scenes that might require the character to be maskless, something we already saw in season two.

The rest of the cast is also coming back from the previous two seasons, as are executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The former wrote all eight episodes, with the latter co-writing two of them. None of them are directing this time around, though. Instead, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, and Peter Ramsey helmed episodes of season 3.

The Mandalorian returns on March 1 with brand-new episodes. Stay tuned for our full coverage of the new season in the coming weeks! You can check out the full Pedro Pascal interview on The Tonight Show here:

Excellent. Now say Basilik war droids will also be involved and I can die a happy man.
