"The Ultimate" 4chan/reddit Rumor & Speculation Thread

I'm trying to come up with mental contortions to explain how four days ago this person knew the first line, that Kylo could stop blaster bolts mid-air, and that R2 was powered down, but I'm coming up empty. None of that stuff was leaked until today, to my knowledge, yet the post is dated 12/10. I've got a bad feeling about this...

 

Is this movie even real? Did they actually see it? Or did they wipe their memories after the screening? Where are the real spoilers? Am I dreaming? Is this thing on?

 

How was there not a single member of these boards that was waiting in that line and got to see the movie? Where are my answers about Luke???

 

I just have trouble believing Rey and Finn are lovers and that Finn in a comma most of the movie.

 

Commas are the worst. Comas are even worse than that.

There are some pretty significant red flags with this "spoiler" description. Stay tuned, guys. We'll see.

Well he said Finn wasn't in a coma until he gets attacked by Kylo. We never do see any pictures of him awake after that.

If it's true, that dialogue is terrible. Especially Kylo and Han's final confrontation.

If it's true, then Rey is a random? Or we have to wait until Episode VIII? The fans are going to explode if that's the case...

 

Taking a look at the post, and considering that it hasn't been edited (it's a guest post)...
There's at least 4 main points that were not leaked until today:

1. The first line of dialogue
2. Kylo Ren is able to stop blaster bolts in mid air
3. R2-D2 has been powered down for a long time
4. Rey sees a vision on her own, not shown to her by Maz Kanata (from the VD: "Compelled to explore the deeper recesses of Maz's castle, Rey faces some of her deepest fears as well as an overwhelming vision brought on by the power of the Force."

It's not "most" of the movie... its only at the end.
And this has just about been confirmed already anyway.


If the poster was someone invited to the special preview in Sydney... he wouldn't have known all this - so we can rule that out.

That means, that this is either completely true OR the guy just decided to throw some made up nonsense in with some legitimate info.

 

Which OP? Isn't this all being sourced from a 4 day old anonymous Pastebin?

 

Here's the exact spot in the premiere video where Anthony Daniels says "you'll find out why" with regard to his red arm:

 

While I would love for it to be bantha poodoo, I still can't come up with a rational explanation for how this person knew about the opening line, stopping blasts mid-air, and a powered-down R2 4 days ago.

 

And Rey's self-experienced Force vision.

 

19.After 20 minutes, we are supposed to think that Poe Dameron was killed in the TIE crash on Jakku. He reappers near the end (he ejected before the crash) to lead the attack on Starkiller base.

But surely he leads the X-Wing attack on Takodana? In the Teaser Trailer we see him lead a squadron of X-Wings flying low over a lake with spray flying up around him. You can see the spray behind him in the cockpit.

 

The Poster must have found a way to edit his post. Too many inconsistencies though he did get much right.

 

Guest accounts cannot edit Pastebin.

To get from "This will" to "This will begin to make things right" word for word is an almost unfathomable coincidence.

We've seen Kylo deflect blasts with his saber in the ads, but not freezing them mid-air, as the leaker describes along with the book scans from earlier today.

In the name of wishful thinking, I'll try to go to bed believing that the Pastebin leaker had early access to the books, and also that they knew somebody who fed them the first line. The only other explanation I can come up with is that they really did see the movie 4 days ago.
