    Thursday and Friday he did this in New York and this evening he showed up at some London UK Screenings.

    I can't remember another time that a actor did this to this extent, just to say thank you. He legitimately is so excited to be apart of this franchise and I for one am so proud for him and Miss Ridley , Mr. Driver and Mr. Isaac. Future is bright for our new Star Wars stars!

    Thanks for posting. That's great. I echo your sentiments. All of the new cast handled themselves well on and off screen (in spite of some horrible vitriol spewed their way). As a Star Wars fan for decades I was prepared to love the new actors/characters and they've certainly made it easy to do so. I can't wait for the next chapter in their story, both within and outside of Star Wars.

    John Boyega.. along with rest of the new cast have reinvigorated Star Wars when it comes to acting, i'm being serious. John was OUTSTANDING

    Indeed. But to listen to the detractors his character sucked and Boyega is/was a sell out for playing him as such. But I guess we have to respect their opinion right?

    Right maybe for the 1st through 3rd iteration, but once it goes beyond the 4th and includes the accusation that we either have low standards or are not being "honest" to ourselves I think not.

    Those "detractors" were getting pretty harsh, and few of them, once started, would back down. Almost 'militantly' ignorant.
    You are being very generous giving them 4 iterations.

    Finn was the best character IMO. He was funny, brave, and even though he wasn't sure of himself and felt he was in over his head, he was very capable when it mattered, and how can you say his character wasn't important? Hes the reason they had a gameplan to destroy the Starkiller base. He made it a point to SAVE Rey, when it obvious that wasn't the primary mission, and was willing to go alone to do it. He even held off Kylo Ren for abit to keep her from being killed/kidnapped by Kylo. Such an exciting brief duel. "Come and get it then" got EVERYONE in the theater cheering and pumped up. This was his character developing, he was no longer scared, and we were introduced to badass Finn.

    This is Rey's story, but people really are missing that Finn also had his awakening in this movie. The moment he hears the sceams from all the people about to be destroyed on thoseplanets (He didn't question what he heard, he reacted right away) this was the turning point for Finn. He answered the call and the hero in him woke up.

    Which is awesome.
