Would you want him to be?
Who would you next like to see introduced to accompany Snoke, huh and Kylo-Ren.

Darth Vader, for now. Kylo Ren is not technically a Sith, so we will see how that will turn out.

Darth Vader. but he's no longer a Sith, so he won't be coming back (not as Vader anyway).

Vader and then the Emperor BUT I have a strong feeling that Snoke and thus Kylo will end up being Siths. There is just something about the Jedi vs Sith which is too iconic in Star Wars. The rivalry is one of the greatest legendary battles in all cinematic history.. it can't be finished.. If Luke (jedi) is alive and well and if what we believe is true that he may be looking for an ancient Jedi temple and probabilistically Rey will be training with him.. then do the maths. The Sith could well be written in to return.

I think Vader kind of has the distinction of being the last Sith and Jedi?
    --- Double Post Merged, Jan 30, 2016 ---
What do you think Snoke meant when he said "training"?

Top Sith character that can't reliably be brought back (we saw him die) - Darth Sidious
Favorite Sith character that can't reliably be brought back (we saw him die) - Darth Vader
Top Sith character that can reasonably be brought back (we didn't see him die) - Darth Plagueis
Favorite Sith character that was already brought back (we technically didn't see him die in the movie) - Darth Maul

    meh to Darth Tyranus

Vader is cool. But i think Sidious in ROTS. Not prequel Sidious if I'm allowed to think of them as different characters.
But should he return? No. He is done!

Obviously it's Sidious. A man amongst boys. He fooled everybody since the start.

    VADER!!!

I also like the older version of Palpatine in Return of the Jedi. Prequal Palpatine not as much.

I really wish that Maul was around for more than one movie. He had potential. (and I hate that they brought him back in Clone Wars!)

Kylo Ren has real potential, if he turns out to be a Sith and depending on how the next couple of movies go.

Dooku was a real waste. Most boring Sith ever. More of a diplomat than an evil lord.

And I really hope we do not see Vader on screen again. It can only take away from his legend, not add to it.

I definitely think Kylo Ren has it in him to become the most interesting "Sith". As for Snoke speaking about completing Kylo's training: I know what you are suggesting. Perhaps Snoke will train Kylo and initiate him to the teachings of the Sith. But that really depends on the question: "who is Snoke". I was never a fan of the theory that he might be Plagueis, but then I saw the movie, and now I'm sure he is. What I gathered from what we know about Plagueis and Palpatine was that they were very conscious of managing and portioning the knowledge they transferred to their apprentices. They are only going to transfer secret knowledge to their underlings when it is in their own interest. The power of the 'archive' (Snoke, Plagueis, Palpatine) .

It is funny: Disney published a sort of kid's one issue magazine (i.e. Star Wars Official Movie Special) about the Force Awakens and how it links up with the other parts of the saga. Interestingly, the only quote from the movies given in the section on the "Dark Side" is Palpatine's reveal to Anakin that Plagueis had such great knowledge of the force that he could even prevent the ones he loved from dying. Also interesting is that the magazine reveals that Anakin was thought to be the chosen one and that he would bring balance in the force but didn't. It is funny how Lucasfilm in condensed form already tries to inform the smallest of us that Darth Plagueis could prevent people from dying and that Darth Vader is no longer considered to have brought balance in the force. :p

Gotta admit I'm slightly worried though there going to get side tracked with this bringing people back from the dead, the idea of a bad guy who has always been behind the scenes is interesting but the bringing people back thing ...less so?

In order to bring a person back to life you must must ultimately relinquish your own personality and humanity in turn. The Force can create an individual out of nothing: Anakin. A person through the light can maintain his or her personality in the force even after death: Obi Wan, Yoda, Anakin, Qui Gon. The darkside will help you to mimic that power: creating life and cheating death. It was the carrot which Palpatine used to seduce Anakin. I think it might be strange at first thought, but I do think that this is what the sequels are working towards. It was one of Lucas' original ideas for the sequels and it's main villain. We also see this particular feature return with Cade Skywalker in the Legacy comics. He could prevent people from dying and bring them back to life. Again based on one of Lucas' original ideas for the sequels.
