I decided to pick up this book. It was a great book but the book wasn't updated enough. It looks like they finished USW before season 1 of rebels ended because Ahsoka Tano's page wasn't updated very well. Also some things contradicted them selves. I could go on but that would be a whole list of things. Anyways the book over all was above average. I would recommend anyone to wait for the next Star Wars encyclopedia to release after VII. Please let me know what you think.

I really like this book! It has some errors but It's a great encyclopedia of everything canon.

I just ordered this book on Amazon today, cheaper than the listed price on DK's website. I'm hoping that it comes with an errata sheet though that addresses the mistakes and lists the corrections wherever one needs to occur (though I'm hoping they're minimal like I read on this one Amazon review).

Interesting, I was looking at it just the other day but decided to wait.

My biggest gripe is with the updates. I have the New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, which is still good despite some changes from the old 90s version (swapping the illustrations and the schematics was the wrong choice in my view) and my big complaint about it is that it was only ever updated to AOTC. It was never updated to feature the awesome ships seen in ROTS.

Just picked it up today at Barnes and Noble ( I had a 20% off coupon!!). I really enjoyed flipping through, I've haven't read any of it yet, but it looks like the Bible of Star Wars!!!

I ordered mine today and looking forward to checking it out. Here is an article on how this book was developed.

Alright! Just received mine today. A day earlier then projected by Amazon. This thing is pretty big and we'll worth the price. Normally goes for $40 but got it for $24 plus tax and shipping.
