    There were rumors early on. I do hope the movie addresses what happened to the force ghosts. I'd think Kylo would have second thoughts about going to the dark side if he could live forever as a light user..

    I’d assume that he would provide counsel to Luke when something effects his ability to teach Rey (i.e. he figures out who she is and hides it from her, Ben/Kylo arrives on Ahch-To, etc.).

    I think that when he’s talking to Vader’s ashen helmet he is specifically seeking a meeting with the spectre of Darth Vader, which might have attached itself to the helmet much like the spectres of fallen Sith Lords attached themselves to masks and helmets (Aftermath) or the Presence in Rebels.

    I explore what this could mean further, and how Anakin could play into this, here :)
