    It's official that Mr. Davis will be in Episode 7.
    The question is who will he be?

    Reprising his role as Wicket the Ewok?
    A random background character?
    Replacing Kenny Baker as Artoo?

    I like how your title accidentally says "is" for Warwick Davis IS Star Wars haha.

    I really don't want him to reprise Wicket, what purpose would that serve in the slightest? Kenny Baker is coming back so he isn't R2, may be getting groomed.

    Warwick had a cameo in Episode I, so I mean it isn't outside of the realm of possibility he does something completely different

    Blame my phone. I was eating with one hand and typing (using Swype) with the other.
    I remember a while back someone said Kenny was in bad health, so I was thinking Davis may take the dome over for him in scenes he wasn't able to finish.
    All the background characters in Ep 1 is what I'm thinking his role will be. A glorified extra.

    replacing Kenny Baker makes sense; i was pretty impressed that Kenny even took the role. i mean, between him and MVS we're looking at nearly 200 years on the planet! and poor Kenny, he has to act in a glorified trash can...

    Very likely a different character as we saw him in Ep1. I hope he gets a meatier role. I like Warwick!
