Westworld (HBO)

I really want to see this series. I watch the movie from the 70's with Yul Brynner and I liked.

 

The robots at Disneyland sometimes go wrong too....

Psyched to get into this again.

S1 was awesome and that trailer looks like S2 keeps that going.

 

The movie is a lot of fun – I actually own it – but the show is just so much better in terms of quality.

I like the show. It's insane, but I like it. A couple of things I noticed from this past episode:

1. It appears that Logan survived being sent off naked into the wilderness.

2. I think Teddy is going to eventually turn on Dolores. He seems uncomfortable with her violent personality and his good guy programming is to embedded into him.

 

Yeah, both solid points.

On the first, I noticed that too, thought it was kind of odd. Seemed like a lot less animosity between the two of them, even after their first foray into the park. Logan seemed relatively normal- or, at least, no skeevier than usual.

2. Totally agreed. And I'm not so sure Dolores doesn't expect that. In the first episode, she says something along the lines of "This is all going to end with me and you."

Obviously that could mean Teddy at her side. But seeing his reactions to her lately, I kinda doubt that.

 

I think the animosity is gone, because Logan is defeated. William essentially took his place both at the company and by his father side, which is why Logan is off drinking and sulking by himself. I didn't even realize that scene was supposed to be after they went to the park until Dolores showed up and Logan thought Williamson are there to rub it in his face.

I can't stand the creepy little bastard. Definitely skeevy. I think he's pretty gross due to his willingness to bang just about anything. I really dislike him, but it's a great job by the actor.

She might. If I'm remembering correctly, one of Teddy's back stories was that he had it in for Wyatt because of the slaughter.
