    We have not heard them speak. Whereas not speaking was perhaps one of the qualities that made Boba Fett so awesome in the OT, Han Solo's wry humor is one of the things that makes him one of my favorite Star Wars characters.

    I'd say BB-8 for sure to, my daughter flipped out when he came out on the stage at Celebration 7.... She wants one of her own \m/

    I'm most interested in Poe. Sure, we don't anything about him other than he's a pilot and he gets captured at some point but he seems poised to be very dynamic. His X-Wing, helmet, skills and ability to escape a Star Destroyer intrigue me and I really liked Oscar Isaac in "Inside Llewyn Davis."

    I would say Phasma will be a huge hit. The chrome armor just looks sick! I'm 6'3", so I could see making the costume for a Comic con appearance.

    But in all honesty, if a Yoda force ghost appears and talks to Luke or Rey, I think my kids will go crazy for him like I did. I also think BB-8 will be a prominent character in pop culture in the future. Maybe Old Man Luke might have a resurgence.

    Just curious, are you worried from the standpoint that the characters will be forgettable or just bad in the vein of The Right Honourable Jar Jar Binks, the Lord of Poodoo himself? From what I've seen so far, I am encouraged by the main cast. Especially Boyega for some reason. I'm also hoping that the villains are memorable.

    As far as I can tell every single character we've been introduced to so far has been pretty memorable! You have the big hitters of course but even the extras are visually outstanding. I know a few of the people in Vanity Fair's castle picture stood out big time, there's the cool red helmet guy, the black 'fear' stormtrooper helmet guy, the fat dude with his alice in wonderland slave and a whole lot more! I think that's one of the main benefits of having a tactile world with real people playing real characters, they all have personality and no doubt by this time next decade every single one will have a full page of backstory on Wookieepedia which is great!

    Sorry, BB8 is a toy for adults (like me) not kids... :D

    Whether my kids love BB8 or not (they loved seeing her roll out at Celebration, too), there will definitely be a remote control BB8 rolling around my house once that becomes available...

    I don't know of anything official, but I got the distinct impression BB8 is a she. The "voice" at Celebration sounded like Eve in the movie Up.... and so much has been said about more females in Star Wars, that I really got that impression.
